NGS supplies the structural systems that bridges and tunnels depend on — elastomeric bearings, expansion joints, butyl seal systems, post-tensioning, and tunnel waterproofing. Compliant with international standards including AASHTO, EN 1337, NFPA 502, and Dutch RWS.
From the bearings that allow a bridge deck to move with thermal expansion, to the fire-protection boards that keep tunnels safe during incidents — these are the engineered components that determine long-term structural performance.
Laminated rubber bearings for standard bridge applications. Cost-effective, proven, reliable. EN 1337-3 specification compliance.
Bridge expansion joints handling movements from a few mm to several hundred mm. Strip seals, modular joints, finger joints depending on movement range.
High-performance butyl joint sealant for precast segment joints, tunnel linings, movement joints, and water-retaining structures. Permanently elastic — it does not cure, crack, or harden — with outstanding resistance to hydrostatic water pressure and excellent adhesion to concrete and steel.
Bonded and unbonded post-tensioning systems for bridge decks, building floors, and structural elements. Anchorages, ducts, and grouting accessories.
PVC tunnel waterproofing systems for cut-and-cover and bored tunnels. Compartmentalization detailing, waterstop systems, drainage mesh behind lining.
Calcium silicate and vermiculite-based boards providing tunnel fire protection. Meets NFPA 502 and Dutch RWS curves. Fire ratings up to 240 minutes.
Drainage layer installed behind tunnel waterproofing membrane — managing groundwater flow and protecting the membrane from puncture damage.
NGS tunnel fire-protection boards are tested and certified to both NFPA 502 (United States standard) and the Dutch RWS hydrocarbon curve — the two most demanding international standards for tunnel fire protection. This dual certification is required for major Saudi tunnel projects including metro and highway tunnels.
Boards available in standard thicknesses from 25 mm to 60 mm, with fire ratings up to 240 minutes (4 hours). Tested for impact resistance, smoke generation, and post-fire residual strength.
