NGS supplies the complete range of geosynthetic products to Saudi Arabia's infrastructure projects — from geotextile separation layers through geomembrane containment systems and geocellular confinement. Every product specified for the Kingdom's specific ground, climate, and project requirements.
Geosynthetics are engineered polymer materials installed within or in contact with soil, rock, or other geotechnical materials. They perform one or more of six fundamental functions: separation, filtration, drainage, reinforcement, containment, and protection.
For Saudi Arabia's infrastructure — where ground is variable, temperatures are extreme, and project timelines are tight — geosynthetics replace conventional mineral solutions with lighter, faster, longer-lasting alternatives. NGS supplies the complete product range, with technical support from specification through installation.

Every geosynthetic product is designed to perform one or more of these six engineering functions in soil and ground systems.
Keep different soil layers apart — preventing fines migration into coarse drainage layers. Critical for roads, railways, and reservoir bases.
Allow water through while retaining soil particles. Used in drainage trenches, behind retaining walls, around perforated pipes.
Conduct water along the plane of the material — replacing aggregate drainage layers with thinner, lighter geocomposite alternatives.
Provide tensile strength to soil systems — enabling steeper slopes, taller retaining walls, and reinforced road foundations.
Prevent fluid migration through and into the ground — for reservoirs, ponds, landfills, tunnels, and basement foundations.
Shield critical layers from puncture, abrasion, or chemical attack — particularly important for geomembrane installations.
NGS stocks and supplies the full geosynthetics product range — meaning you don't need to assemble materials from multiple sources for a single project.
Woven and non-woven needle-punched textiles for separation, filtration, and protection. PP and PET options across full range of weights (100–1500 g/m²).
Uniaxial, biaxial, and triaxial polymer grids for soil reinforcement — MSE walls, embankments, foundation stabilization, road base reinforcement.
Bentonite clay sandwiched between geotextiles. Self-healing impermeable layer for landfills, ponds, secondary containment.
HDPE, LLDPE, PVC, TPO/FPO, EPDM, and bituminous membranes for containment, waterproofing, and barrier applications.
Expanded polystyrene blocks for lightweight fill — bridge abutment backfill, slope stabilization, void formation, building foundations.
Multi-component products combining drainage core with geotextile filters — high-flow drainage in compact thickness.
Cuspated polymer panels for podium and green roof drainage, behind retaining walls, blind-side waterproofing protection.
3D honeycomb cells for soil confinement — load support, slope protection, channel lining, ground stabilization.
Geotextile bags filled with sand or concrete — coastal protection, riverbank stabilization, temporary check dams.
Specialty composite materials for erosion control and high-performance separation requirements.
Coir mats, jute meshes, and synthetic blankets for slope stabilization, embankment protection, vegetation establishment.
Floating silt barriers for marine and lake works — containing turbidity plumes during dredging or construction.
Large-diameter geotextile tubes for dewatering, coastal structures, breakwaters, and reclamation works.
Permanent turf reinforcement for verges, swales, parking areas — load-bearing grass surfaces.
Specialty drainage mesh for tunnel waterproofing systems — managing groundwater behind tunnel linings.
Pre-formed drainage panels for foundation walls, basement waterproofing, and retaining wall drainage.
NGS's specialty range for unique applications — custom specifications, oversize rolls, project-specific blends.
Three-dimensional erosion-control mats that anchor topsoil and vegetation on steep slopes and channels — permanent reinforcement against scour and surface runoff.
Interlayer reinforcement grids for asphalt and unbound pavements — distributing load, resisting rutting, and extending road service life.
Cellular confinement systems for load support, slope and channel protection, and ground stabilization across weak or variable soils.
Engineered barrier layers that block capillary salt rise into structures and pavements — protecting against sabkha and high-salinity ground conditions common across the Kingdom.
Geocell is a three-dimensional honeycomb of HDPE strips that is expanded on site and filled with sand, gravel or concrete. The cell walls confine the infill laterally, turning loose desert sand into a stiff, load-spreading mattress. NGS supplies geocell for road and haul-road stabilisation over weak or sandy subgrades, slope and channel protection against wind and flash-flood erosion, plantable retaining walls and tank and pond linings. Cell heights of 75–200 mm and perforated or textured strips are selected against the load case and infill; NGS prepares the submittal and supervises the first panels on site. Note the distinction Saudi engineers often ask about: geocell confines soil, while a geocellular tank stores stormwater — NGS supplies both. Ask an NGS engineer about geocell →
NGS supplies 21 geosynthetic product lines including geotextiles, geogrids, geocomposites, GCL (geosynthetic clay liner), geocell, geomembranes (HDPE/LDPE/LLDPE, PVC/EPDM/TPO), drainage boards, 3D geomats, pavement grids, geo-confinement systems, and salt barriers.
